B.Sc. IT department has been started since the academic year 2008-09. It is a 3 years full time course. Each year is divided into 2 semesters. The course consists of 30 modules comprising 29 papers and one project in the VIth Semester.

After Bsc-IT, you can study further or you can get job in MNC or IT companies.

Many IT companies are providing jobs for BSc IT graduates. Job scope in IT sector is very wide right from computer hardware and networking to softwares. There are several other sectors too like Telecommunication, Office Automation, etc in which you would find requirement of IT. With B.SC IT degree in your hand you can look for entry level jobs in these sectors.

|A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Course Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) Degree Course shall have passed XIIth Standard. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in aggregate in case of reserved category candidates.|
|Candidate who have passed Diploma (Three Year after S.S.C. Xth standard) in Information Technology / Computer Technology / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and Civil & Allied Branches of are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc.(I.T.) degree college.|
However, the Diploma should be recognised by the Board of Technology Education or any other recognised Government Body,. Minimum marks required 45% aggregate for Open Category Candidates and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates. .

Admission will be on merit, based on the order of preference as follows:
